What a difference an ‘s’ makes!
Often people make the word communication plural without realizing that adding ‘s’ totally changes the meaning. Communications deals with the field of technical transmission of information through radio, telephones, etc. Whereas communication is the study of how conversations are received, understood, and how their meanings are deduced. Communication deals with people. Communications does not. People who are communicators do not specialize in cell phones and cable wires; they focus on words and how they are interpreted.
Before you use these words in the future, be mindful of this simple mistake to ensure you don’t repeat it.
